Last minute change of event – pub evening at the Elephant and Castle, Amwell
Our speaker has had to cancel because of illness so, instead, we are going to have a pub evening at the Elephant and Castle pub, just outside Wheathampstead.
Directions are on http://www.elephantcastle.co.uk/?page_id=21 (from Wheathampstead follow signs for Harpenden up Church St and Brewhouse Hill, take the left fork on to Amwell Lane and we are located around 400 yards along on your right – postcode AL4 8EA).
We have a large table being held for us in Martin’s name, he and I are getting there around 7.30pm to have a bite to eat first, they have a reasonable bar menu. Otherwise please do turn up at 8pm or thereabouts as usual.
