Through Burnham Beeches to reach the Thames again at Bourne End from where our route follows the river to Marlow.

As of 13th April, Thameslink are forecasting a rail replacement service between St Albans and London. The best option looks like driving to High Wycombe and using buses to connect to either end of our walk

All -day parking at nearby Eden Shopping Centre (Lily’s Walk, High Wycombe HP11 2BY) costs £2.50
High Wycombe, Queensmere Car Park (09.45) è The Forester’s Arms, Farnham Common (10.15) – X74 (hourly service) run by First Berkshire
Fallback is the 10.00 service (bus 103) è The Forester’s Arms, Farnham Common (10.44)
Return: West Street / Oxford Road Marlow (16.17) è High Wycombe (16.40), bus 850, half-hourly service
In addition to sandwich lunch, there are options to stop and buy food at Farnham Common, Cookham (just over halfway) and Marlow.
