Meet at 9.45am so we can leave at 10.00am from the Recreation Ground car park in Whitwell GR Map193 183 209 and we will follow good footpaths over open ground and through woods. The 10 mile walk will pass along Norton Street Lane, Kitching Lane, passed the Rusty Gun Pub on the Chiltern Way before going through Hitch Wood on route back to Whitwell. When we are finished the walk we can have tea and cake in Emily’s Tea Shop and/or a pint in The Bull pub now run by the Farr Brewery. Stewart.
