A weekend at Buttermere Hostel in the Lake District from Friday 25th March to Sunday 27th March. Buttermere is in the North west of the lake district. The village is very small and has a couple of pubs but no shops. You can walk straight from the hostel into mountains in all direction

For the night of Thursday 24th March the suggestion is the Travelodge on the M6 at Lancaster. Please make your own reservation.
On Friday we will meet at 10.30 for a walk up Blencathra before continuing to Buttermere.
